| At Zytex we believe that product research should be backed by application development, it was for this reason that we first setup an Application lab in 1997. This was not only helpful for customer support but also brought products from the bench scale to the customer rapidly. The application lab was further expanded to support our full-fledged formulation facility. In the year 2003 we started our Innovation start-up lab in a small way and from then on we have moved to our new state of the art innovation center in January 2006. Based on research conducted at our center we are in the process of setting up a new production facility for a range of therapeutic enzymes and proteins. Today Zytex capabilities include:  | Screening of micro-organisms for enzymes, metabolites and antimicrobials | | Characterization of enzymes and proteins for their physico-chemical properties | | Fermentation process optimization and up scaling | | Application development and standardization for Industrial and other enzymes | | Zytex has its own collection of a battery of Lipases, which can be tested for biotransformation of drug intermediates. | |
